Fudgy the elf, day 17 hanging out on one of the loft windows!
Today was "Christmas Baking Day"! Raelyn, Myles and I made all our favorite Christmas treats! We played Christmas music and were in the kitchen almost all day! I think of all the things we do at Christmas time, this is one of my favorites! It reminds me of growing up and baking with my mom in the kitchen of our old house. She would make most of the same things I now make and we too always delivered a tray of Christmas goodies to our neighbors. I miss Mr. & Mrs. Green a lot. She always made the best sugar cookies and we always looked forward to those special treats from her. I made everything I wanted today except for my Chex-mix and that is going to be made next week before my parents get here!

Trays made up for our neighbors! This year we gave out M&M pretzels, Buckeyes, haystacks, monster cookie, peanut butter bloosoms and scotch-a-roos!
Our advent activity tonight was to "deliver goodie trays to the neighbors".

The kids delivering one of the trays! I know I've been in AZ over a year now but it still amazes me that it is December 17th and we delivered goodie trays tonight without having to wear snowsuits, mittens, hats and gloves! One thing I do love about AZ, is the warm weather!
