Thankful Thursday!

1. Health - so far besides having pink eye a couple of times in the last couple of months, I have been healthy. I see so many that deal with health issues on a daily basis and I'm thankful for my health and the health of my kids. I sometimes forget how blessed I am that I don't deal with daily health issues like so many of my friends do.

2. Myles Teachers - He is doing so well in school this year and his speech is starting to take off more and more. I'm so thankful for his wonderful teachers who work daily with him and also his speech therapist that really puts a lot of heart and soul into making sure my little guy gets the speech services he needs. Their hard work is paying off and more and more words are coming out of my little guy every day!

3. SOUL Zone Leaders and assistances - I'm so thankful for the well over 100 people at our church that give to our Children's Ministry on a bi-monthly, monthly and even weekly schedule.  Our church is being blessed with new children every week and I'm so thankful for those people that give every week to not only my kids, but every kid that walks through our doors!  It truly is a blessing to be part of it all and Sheree and I could never in a million years accomplish what we do on a weekly basis without our leaders, assistances and everyone that helps out. I Love that my children look forward to Sunday every week and that their teachers know them by name!  In a church our size, I'm always amazed at the way the teachers still connect one on one with our children.

4. Christmas Music - I just started listening to it this week and I was graciously given the new Casting Crowns Christmas CD from someone at church and I'm in Love with it already!

5. My hands - I know it sounds silly but I'm thankful that I have hands to help me do all the daily stuff around this house that needs to be done.  It's such a simple thing, yet something that I take for granted on a daily basis. Although I don't like hand washing dishes, I'm thankful that I have hands to get the job done!

6. People in my life that God seems to drop in my lap just when I need them - Someone I went to High School with came in and graciously gave an afternoon of her time to help me out with some stuff at the church this week. It was so good to have her to chat with while we worked on projects. God always seems to know what I need and I walked away from that afternoon thankful for the conversations that took place.

7. My parents who have been more than willing to watch my kids the past couple of weekends and also help do school pick-ups on days I have college. My kids love them and I'm so glad to be near them again!

8. My Cousin Kristy who has helped me out with daycare more times than I can count. I'm so thankful that I can drop my kids off to her and walk away knowing that they are being well taken care of and loved as I would love them!  Myles said "Kristy" for the 1st time this week and it was so sweet!

9. My In-laws who have also been wonderful and graciously have helped us out with daycare many times. My kids love spending time with them and it's nice to not have to worry about the kids while I'm at work!

10. Wesco Cappuccino's - I'm in love with the Holiday Mint and I'm so thankful that I can get a cupful for less than a $1.00 and it helps keep me going at work all morning long!
