Happy 4th Birthday Myles!

Myles Glen,

Today you turned four years old. You have been talking about turning
four for a long time now and you were so excited to finally have your birthday!
You are such a sweet little boy and melt my heart daily. You still love to snuggle
on the couch with mom and are so sweet to your little sister.  You protect her
like a big brother should and she is lucky to have you! You enjoy playing
with trucks and airplanes and love being outdoors. You love to help me
in the kitchen and have gotten really good at helping me do dishes.
You love life and it's so fun to see you get excited over things.
Today you got to take cupcakes to school and you told
everyone who would listen that it was your birthday
and you were four!
I'm so proud to be your Mom!
Happy 4th Birthday Sweet Boy!

Love,
Mommy

Field Trip to Lansing!

Today I got to go on a field trip to Lansing with Broedy!  We had to be at the school really early and we were gone all day. It was a fun day of visiting lots of different places!

Broedy in front of the capital building!
This was the 1st place we went!

Broedy's class waiting for our guide to come in.

The dome in the capital building.
This reminded me of the capital building in D.C.

The kids laying down to look up into the dome!

Listening to the speaker/guide at the capital building.

On the 2nd floor checking things out!

The dome again!

Our guide at the capital building.

After the capital building, we headed
over to the Impression 5 Science Center!
Broedy had fun with the different bubbles!

A really BIG bubble!

Little Bubbles!

Broedy checking out a static electric display!

This was a cool chair that spun around!

Seeing if he can pull himself up in the chair.

A puzzle/maze!

Shooting balls into a net!

Seeing how far he could launch these little wooden things!

He had a lot of fun with the river/boat display!

Learning how locks work!

A fun marble thing!

Then we headed to each lunch and then over to the senate building!

Broedy with the speaker/guide at the senate building.

Broedy got picked to be part of the presentation on
how legislative works in the senate building!

Playing a game on the computer!

Looking at the capital building from the front of the senate building!

After the senate building, we headed to our last place which was the natural history museum!
It went though all of Michigan History and was probably my favorite place that we went!

Broedy on a wooden buggy example!
You could ride it back and forth and it
was supposed to show you what it
was like to ride on a buggy.

Broedy took this picture, he liked the display with all the little soldiers!

At the one room school house!

My and my favorite 4th grader on our way home!

It was a great day and I'm glad I got to spend it with Broedy!

He's Back!

Fudgy the Elf made his first appearance at our house today!
So glad I started this tradition a few years back!  The kids still love Fudgy and it was fun to have them come running into our bedroom this morning all excited that Fudgy came back!

Have NO idea what Fudgy is all about?
Check out this post that tells all about
him and how this tradition started!
