An afternoon with my best friend, Kristy!

Today I met my best friend and two of her five children (the older three were still in school) at a park in Grand Haven. It was soooooooo good to see her. Although I still talk to her almost daily, I haven't seen her or her kids since last summer. It was a great afternoon and I can't wait to see her again next week!

She loved playing in these rocks and of course, kept shoving them in her mouth.

After the kids played at the park for awhile, they wanted to go climb the sand dune that was on the other side of the park. So we headed over there and had fun in the Lake MI sand....oh how I miss Lake Michigan sand.

They climbed up.......

and ran down......

and then climbed back up.......

and then ran back down....

and then climbed again......

and ran down again....

and climbed again.....

Eventually they started to get tired and sat down at the top of the hill (Raelyn, Myles, Alyssa & Broedy).

And even Ethan decided to take a break!

Myles decided it was a good idea to lay at the bottom of the dune and watch the rest of them go up and Adalyn had fun playing in the sand at the bottom of the dune with Kristy & I.

She thought the sand was lots of fun.

She tried to follow the older kids up the dune....

and decided it may be more fun to stay at the bottom with us.

Is she not the cutest thing ever?!?!

It was a GREAT day at the park and it was actually warm (well jeans and t-shirt warm)!
