Family Fun Friday!

Our church is hosting Family Fun Fridays every friday in the park by our house. Tonight was a "preview" night for families from the church to get a sample of what it will be like. It was held at our pastor's house and it was a lot of fun for the kids. We had pizza and pop, there was a puppet show, games, songs, a bible story and swimming!

Heading Home

Sunday night we packed up so we would be ready to leave in the morning. Too fast and not enough time to visit everyone we wanted to though. So, if we missed you this summer, we are really sorry. My three weeks went by really fast and Chris's week flew by in the blink of an eye. Hopefully next summer we will be home for at least six week!

Monday we drove 1,000 miles and were in the car for a total of 15 hours. We spent the night in El Reno, Oklahoma at the KOA there in this cute little cabin! Tuesday we also went about 1,000 miles and were in the car for 15 hours. It was a long trek but the kids were amazing. We got home Tuesday night at about 8:00 p.m. Arizona time, which was 11:00 p.m. Michigan time.

Muskegon Lake!

After spending the afternoon with Chris's family, we headed back to my parents to spend some time with my family.

We had strawberry shortcake and my Grandpa had fun feeding Adalyn.


We also took a boat ride on Muskegon Lake and then went over to Bear Lake.

Today we went over to Chris's parents for a family get together. We had dinner together and the kids played in the lake. It was a great afternoon!

Friday & Saturday we helped Chris's sister and brother in law run a garage sale. We basically hung out at the house all day and let the kids play. It was fun and relaxing.

Duck Lake

Today we spent the day at duck lake state park! Duck lake flows into Lake Michigan and there is a great shallow channel that the kids can play in.

The older boys had skim boards and so a few of us adults tried them out. I took the plunge and tried it and lets just say I'm glad no one took pictures of me:-)
