Horses!

Today we took a ride out to Sargent Jakola's house. He has a ranch and owns about 24 horses or so. He has a 1 month old foal, chickens, geese and a host of other animals as well. It was a beautiful afternoon and it was fun to watch the kids interact with the animals.

We brought carrots with us and the kids had fun feeding all the horses. The baby one wasn't sure how to eat carrots yet and would just nibble on them.

Broedy & Chris amongst some of the horses. Check out the size of the black one. He was one of the biggest horses I think I've ever seen in my life.

Raelyn riding a horse. This horse was really good with the kids. We tried to teach Raelyn how to steer the horse and she did a pretty good job all by herself. She kept wanting to pull back though which would make the horse stop.
