Ross Park Parade!

Today we headed to the Ross Park Parade! It was a beautiful, sunny day and we had a lot of fun!
Chris, Broedy, Grandma, Adalyn, Realyn and Myles

Collecting Candy.....they ended up with more than they normally get at Halloween!

My little princess! She refused to go after Candy and insisted they bring it to her....and well she did pretty good considering she never got up from her spot on the blanket. They would walk by and put some in her lap! Can we say SPOILED!

Dirt, Dirt, Everywhere!

We are living at the KOA campground in town and the kids love the dirt! They are covered from head to toe in it everyday! I hose them down about three times a day and then again before bed! I'm just glad they are having fun!

Myles and Adalyn.....my two very dirty little ones!

Monkey see.....Monkey do!

Showing me just how dirty they are!

A face only a mother can love!

She is like a dirt magnet!

And I still love her!

Dirty kids......I know, this too will pass and all I will have is memories!

Imagination Station!

Tonight was a beautiful night and so we headed to Grand Haven for some good pizza and then headed over to Imagination Station to let the kids play!

She is way too brave sometimes.

Myles

Raelyn has gotten really good at monkey bars. It reminds me just how big she really is to watch her master all of these things!

There is a big dune near Imagination Station we (I) decided to climb! The kids followed me up and ran down a few more times than me!

Adalyn didn't make it all the way up!

I love the dunes! I could just sit on a dune and think for hours some days!

Fish and Turkeys!

Chris took the kids up to his parents to do some fishing! Broedy caught this fish and then was scared to hold onto it!

We've seen a ton of turkeys around! We used to have these in our backyard. I so miss my old house here and opening up the curtains on the sliding glass door and coming face to face with a turkey!

Boating....

that is what you do in Michigan! You boat! Today I took the kids to my parents and we went out in the boat and then went swimming! Have I mentioned how much I love being back in Michigan and on the water again? If not, I love it!

Grand Haven!

One of my favorite board walks to walk on is in Grand Haven! My Mom and I took the kids there today to walk the boardwalk and get ice cream!

This huge freighter went through the channel while we were there!

It honked the horn at us and scared the kids! It was pretty funny!

The kids watching the freighter go by!

Grandma and Adalyn

Walking on the rocks! I had to laugh when my kids started walking on these because as a kid, my brothers and I did the same thing! And now I understand why my parents hated it! The kids made me a nervous wreck walking all down to the beach on them.

Myles walking the rocks! He had a blast!

Five on Friday!

1. I have been an awful blogger since I've been back in MI! Life has just been crazy and I haven't had time to blog or take pictures it seems. My camera isn't getting much use and I really need to change that soon!

2. Took the kids out for pizza and then down to the muskegon channel tonight to walk, watch the boats and climb the dunes! Chris was working and it was fun to have the kids by myself tonight! We saw a huge freighter and I was hoping it would come through the channel but it went right on by out in Lake Michigan!

3. I'm still amazed that I'm actually back in MI! Love this area and all that it has to offer and feel so blessed to be back!

4. Signed the kids up for school this week! Now I'm just waiting to hear from the school on if Myles is morning or afternoon so I can try to get daycare figured out for him and Adalyn!

5. I have another part time job opportunity I am interviewing for on Monday. Praying that it will mesh well with my current job and that it will work out! Putting it in God's hand and knowing that if the job is supposed to be mine, God will work it out somehow! Somedays it is easier to trust that than others!

Unity Day Two!

Tonight I took the kids down to the Unity Festival by myself. Sat by a ton of people from church and we had a great time! Because my camera has a removable lenses, they took it from me at the gate and wouldn't let me in with it so I didn't get any pictures myself but here are a few some others took while we were there! (sorry they are so small...I pulled them off of facebook)!

The Kainay group!

By the end of the night when Casting Crowns was playing I had a very, very tired little girl!

Unity Festival Day Zero!

Every year West Michigan has a Unity Festival at Heritage Landing, right on the shores of Muskegon Lake. They always bring in some great names in Christian Music and I love going down to the concerts. Tonight was Day Zero which means it was free! Chris and I went and meet up with some friends and had a great time!
Fireflight! Lots of people!
