Happy 2nd Birthday to The Bridge!

Sunday was the 2nd birthday of our church, The Bridge! After the service, we headed over to the park to celebrate with a church picnic complete with a kickball game! It was a beautiful day and a lot of fun!

Not Me Monday!

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

I have linked before to this blog. The owner of the blog, Jennifer who just happens to be Stellan's Mommy started "Not Me Monday" posts awhile back. Each Monday she puts up a funny post about what she did not do the past week in order to make us all laugh and to use humor to admit all of our flaws. I've never done a "Not Me Monday" post before but this week many blog readers are doing "Not Me Monday" posts in honor of little Stellan who is still in the hospital with a very sick heart! So here is my 1st ever "Not Me Monday" post!

This week I did not check Jennifer's blog hourly hoping for an update on what was happening with Stellan. I mean honestly, I have never met this little boy. It would be silly of me to do that.

I also did not text my best friend, Kristy about Stellan's status because she was not near a computer and texted me wanting to know if I knew anything.

I have not cried once this week over a little boy I have never met. And I certainly did not mention Stellan in our nightly prayers with my children.

I have not had Stellan on my mind and in my prayers constantly all week long.

I also certainly did not join a facebook group called "praying for Stellan" or put up a post asking for prayers on my own blog. Nope, Not Me!

Please pray for this sweet little boy. As a Mom, my heart just breaks for this family and all families that carry the cross of having a sick child.

Random Stuff

This morning Grandpa Bill came over to wash his car and the water made a small river going down the street. The kids had a blast playing in it!



All of a sudden they saw Dad come around the corner (he taught Saturday school this morning and was walking home). Myles pointed and started screaming at me.

Then he took off into a full run (I love how both of his feet are off the ground in this picture) to get a hug from Dad!

He loves his Daddy and the best part of coming home for Chris & myself is the hug we get when we walk through the door. Everytime Chris or I walk in the door from work, Myles comes running with a hug! It's one of the best parts of my day. We love this sweet little boy!

Broedy's friend, Lance was riding his rip stick and told me to "snap a picture"....so I did:-)

Broedy bought a fish tank and fish with his birthday money this year. He spends many hours watching the fish.

She is just too cute, I can't resist taking pictures of her everyday! She stands more than she crawls these days. It's only a matter of time before my baby starts walking. I am SO not ready!

She sits like this all of the time and it just cracks me up! She is so darn cute and always looking for the next thing to get into.

Yup, this is what I woke up to on Sunday. Chris was getting out of the shower and he says to me, "Is she on her knees or is she standing?" So I get up to look and sure enough she is standing in her crib. Where did my baby go?

She was upset that I wouldn't pick her up and just kept taking pictures of her.

My sweet girl was still tired.

Air Show!

Saturday we went to Luke Air Force Base with John & Stephanie and the kids where they were having an air show. We had to walk a LONG way to get into the base from where the parking was. The kids did really well though and it was fun.

The United States Air Force Thunderbirds (which are like the Blue Angels) performed at the end of the show and they were awesome! It was worth the walk just to see them perform.

They had a ton of planes out for display that we walked around and looked at.
