This morning Chris & I took Myles in to have tubes put in both ears. The surgery was at 7:30 a.m. and we had to be at Phoenix Children's Hospital at 6:30 to check in. Myles did great and the procedure was really fast (it was only about 20 minutes from the time they took him back until they came to get us). He seems to be doing fine and we were home by 9:00 a.m. this morning.

After we got back home, we packed up and headed to Northern Arizona! We took a drive up to Payson and went to the Tonto National Park. The weather was in the 60's and it was a beautiful day to hike and have a picnic lunch. We ate once we got to the park and then hiked down to see the bridge and then took another hike to check out a different waterfall.

After our hike, we took a drive up to Strawberry and pine. We were looking for some campgrounds to check out but they were all closed due to all the SNOW! We stopped at a small gas station to get some stuff and next to it was this:

Can you read the sign? It's the US Post Office for Happy Jack, Arizona! Seriously, it's not a joke...this was the real post office for where we were!
We then went about another mile and along side the highway there were a bunch of kids sledding. The kids were begging us to let them go so we stopped and let the kids play in the snow! It was AWESOME! It was in the high 50's and it was beautiful outside. The snow wasn't even melting and it was so nice to be able to be outdoors in jeans and a sweatshirt, watching the kids have fun in the snow without freezing my buns off. I can say that the best thing about living in AZ, is the weather! How cool is it that we live where it's in the 60's to 70's all winter long and if we do want to see snow, all we have to do is drive two hours north where there is enough snow to make us all happy!

Broedy & Raelyn running out in the snow. They were so super excited that we stopped and let them play! And YES that is Broedy with a short sleeved shirt on!

Evevation was 7000 where we were.

A couple of kids were kind enough to let Broedy & Raelyn use their sleds! Raelyn heading down the hill!

Myles wasn't so sure about the snow at 1st.
