Staff Softball Game!

Chris played in a staff softball game at the school. We went and cheered him and his team mates along! It was a fun morning!

Five on Friday!

1. Last night I had a Mom's Night Out and it was awesome! I am so blessed that God put these wonderful, caring, awesome ladies in my life.

2. I started potty training Myles and Adalyn today. I think Adalyn is going to get there before Myles. It's been an interesting day to say the least!

3. This morning after I put underwear on both kids and decided to stay at home all day with them to work on potty training, I realized that I had no eggs or oil in the house and I needed to bake three cakes for the school carnival tonight. I posted about it on facebook and an awesome friend called me and told me she was bringing me over eggs and oil and to stay put at home! She showed up a little bit later with not only eggs and oil but with flowers as well. Once again I am blown away at these wonderful people God has choose to put in my life.

4. I have a cold/sinus thing settling in right now and it's kicking my butt today. I just want to crawl into bed and sleep for hours on end.

5. I hate flies! Seriously, the amount of flies that manage to get into my house on a daily basis is driving me insane. I stand in the kitchen with the fly swatter daily and kill flies. Although I will say there are many days when killing flies is kind of therapeutic for me! I'm not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing.

I feel that way too!

The other day as the baby was screaming, Adalyn was following me around melting down and I was trying to get Myles ready to head to preschool I looked over and saw Cooper on the couch with his face burried under his paws. I laughed and thought to myself, "I wish I could bury my head like that and just wish the world away for a little while"!

Chris was talking on the phone last night outside and Myles was having a fit about coming in. Chris let him stay outdoors and when he got off the phone he found Myles sound asleep in one of the chairs in the garage!

Lunch with Daddy

Chris comes home for lunch just about every day. Myles is at school when Chris is home so it's just Adalyn and she loves it when Daddy comes home for lunch.

Five on Friday!

One of my friend does a Ten on Thursday post every week and I decided to steal her idea (Thanks Jaclyn!)! But my life isn't exciting as hers and I'm not sure I can come up with 10 things every week to post about. So I'm going to do a five on Friday post instead! I can't promise it will be a weekly thing but I'll try:-)

Here are my five this week!

1. I miss Michigan! I've been really homesick for the past two weeks or so and it's not fun. I think the fact that we are not going to Michigan for the summer is really getting to me. It's put me in a serious funk and I can't seem to focus on anything. Praying that I get out of this funk soon and find peace in being here again.

2. My two younger kids are driving me CRAZY lately! I LOVE them but between the two of them my house is never, never, never, ever clean! I feel like all I do is follow them around all day cleaning up mess after mess! It's a good thing they are so cute!

3. The weather here has been BEAUTIFUL lately! This is the weather I live for out here!

4. I miss my best friend! Although I talk to her everyday it's killing me that I can't be there to help her pack and deal with life right now. I'm going to be flying up to see her in June for a week but I so wish I was there in person to help her now.

5. I'm counting down the days until school is out! 3 1/2 weeks and school will be done! I'm looking forward to homework free evenings and sleeping in again!
