Easter Egg Hunt!

Today was our church's yearly Easter Egg Hunt/Carnival! It was a beautiful day out and we had a lot of fun with the kids!

A relaxing weekday evening!

The weather has been just beautiful here and so we have been trying to enjoy the evenings just hanging out with the kids outside. Tonight Chris was pulling weeds and the kids were having a blast with the neighborhood kids playing with the wagons!

Take Flight!

Tonight was Broedy's pack meeting for Cub Scouts! The theme of the meeting was "Take Flight".

Broedy got his bobcat reward and we had to go up front to get his reward! The actually "flew" the reward to him via an airplane. Us standing up front waiting for the reward to get flown to him!

As part of the meeting a pilot from Luke Air Force Base came and talked! He was really nice and it was fun to hear all about his adventures of being an Air Force Pilot for the past 17 years.

Saw this out my backdoor a few weeks ago!

We had gotten a lot of rain a few weeks back and during dinner, I looked outside and saw this beautiful double rainbow!

We are stranded!

So every year we end up getting stranded in Laveen. There are only two roads that cross the river to get to laveen so when there is water in the river, we have two choices of roads to use. It's a pain in the butt. The funny thing is when we moved here there was NO water in this river and Chris and I actually laughed when we drove across this stretch of street at all the signs that said "don't cross when flooded". There wasn't a drop of water to be seen and we really thought they were kidding. They were not:-(

Today we took a bike ride down to the river to check out the damage of the road.

Some stupid driver decided it would be a good idea to cross the flooded river and lost their car. You can also see where the road is actually washed out. I think we're going to be stranded forever.

Palm Sunday!

Today the kids at church sang for Palm's Sunday! Broedy didn't want anything to do with singing and didn't even end up on stage but Raelyn did awesome!

Girl Scouts Ceremony!

Today Raelyn has her 1st Girl Scouts Ceremony. They each got rewards and the patches for their accomplishments so far!
