The Tin Fish!

One of my favorite things to do when we go to San Diego is to walk the pier at Imperial Beach and eat at the Tin Fish. The Tin Fish is a restaurant at the end of the pier. It has the best fish and chips and it's just a fun place to go.

Before you get to the pier there is a playground. The kids had fun playing for awhile.

Imperial Beach!

The kids playing at Imperial Beach. Although I am not a fan of salt water (I was spoiled by growing up near Lake Michigan - like an ocean without salt), the ocean is beautiful.

It was a great afternoon!

Hanging out in San Diego!

Friday afternoon we loaded in the car and headed to San Diego to visit with family. Friday night we hung out and watched the Olympics and Saturday was a lazy day as well. We just hung out by the house and the neighborhood pool most of the day. It was nice to just lay low and hang out! Much needed relaxation!

They have a really nice pool area with a kiddie pool, hot tub and regular pool.

The Laveen Parade!

This morning we went to the Laveen Parade! We biked there and back which was a total of about 10 miles. It was a beautiful day for a parade!
