Lazy Summer Days!

It's been in the 100's here in Sunny Arizona for awhile and so we spend our days hanging out by the pool and eating otter pops!! What else is there to do in AZ when it hits the 100's?!?
Little Miss Adalyn who used to hate the pool LOVES it now! Those swimming lessons really paid off!

Chris spends hours throwing the kids in the pool!

Daddy and one of his little girls!

Daddy's Star Flyer! She BEGS him to throw her high!

Our little fish! He can now swim across the whole pool and can dive for and get rings off the bottom! And to think a few weeks ago we couldn't get him in the pool without his life jacket on!

Even Ozzie loves hanging out by the pool with us!

Flying High once again!

Myles loves to jump off of Daddy's shoulders!

Our little fish, Myles!

Gotta have cute toes for summer days! Went for red this time around for my hubby (his favorite color)!

Flipping through the air!

And landing!

I spend my days in my swim suit!

Even Ozzie loves swimming in the pool!

Five on Friday!

1. I head home tomorrow! It has been such a wonderful, relaxing, fun vacation and I'm so glad I had this time to just hang out and be with Kristy, my family and many other friends I had a chance to meet up with. It has been an incredible 9 days. Thank You to everyone I got to see and hang out with and thank you Kristy for everything. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful friend to share life with! Lots of good memories, laughter, hard work and just girl time! I love you my friend!

2. Can't wait to see my kids and husband and get back into life with them tomorrow. While it was a nice break, I wish my family could of been in Michigan with me too. So many things that I did, I know they would of loved.

3. We went down to Lake Michigan one last time tonight and it was beautiful. I don't think I can ever put into words just how peaceful and calming Lake Michigan is. It was fun to do cartwheels on the beach with Kristy's kids and to watch all the boats and people. We were watching a bunch of teenage boys jump off the pier into the icy 62 degree water and I just had to laugh at all the memories that brought back up for me.

4. I have realized being in Michigan that I miss more and more things about this area every day. Things like good pizza, little ice cream shops on the lake, beach sand, Lake Michigan, green grass, trees, two lane highways, wildlife, boardwalks and pier jumping, family, boating, tubing, channels, campgrounds on the lake, small little beach towns to walk though, light houses, wooded trails, the breeze coming off the big lake and so much more....praying that we can somehow move back some time soon or that God will give me a big dose of peace in being in Arizona.

5. I can't believe that my best friend is moving to TN! I know, I know...we moved away first but it's hard to believe that she won't be here when we come to visit anymore.

Family!

Today my parents and I met my brother Lee, his fiance, Bridget and their two kids, Logan and Aubrey at a McDonald's. It was so good to see all of them. I so miss my brother and hate that I only get to see his kids a few times a year, if that. Plus I know he hates not seeing my kids as well.
My Mom and Aubrey. I haven't seen her since she was just a few days old, can't believe how big she is already.

Logan Skipping! He is such a doll and it was so funny to watch him skip! He is very busy and doesn't sit still for longer than about 1/2 second if you are lucky!

What a cutie! Love my nephew!

I could just eat him up he is so cute!

Me and my niece, Aubrey! I so wanted to bring her home with me. She is a doll and I hate that I have no idea when I will see her again!

Water!

Today Kristy and I went out on my parent's boat for the afternoon! It was so much fun! I miss being on the water and everything about living near Lake Michigan! I didn't take very many pictures but here are a couple that I did manage to take! Without my kids around, I found that I just don't get the camera out very often.

A freighter! I miss seeing these going through the channel.

The Lake Express! This went through the channel when we were going through it. The Lake Express takes people from Muskegon, MI over to Wisconsin twice a day!

Five on Friday!

1. We went Mini-golfing tonight! So much fun! We are crazy together!

Yes, this is me sitting in a bush and Yes, I'm a dork but it was fun and I haven't laughed that hard in a long time! I was trying to figure out how to hit my golf ball that was way too close to the edge!

2. I miss Lake Michigan! Seriously if you have never been on a Lake Michigan Beach you won't understand, but Lake Michigan has the best beaches in the world! My best friend and I headed down to the beach tonight and it was wonderful! There is just something so calming and peaceful about being at the beach.
The sun going down over Lake Michigan!

Kristy & I at the beach!

Me on the shores of Lake Michigan!

3. I'm a dork! I get excited when I see MI license plates in AZ. The other day I was driving to Muskegon to have breakfast with my family and I saw a MI license plate and got all excited before it hit me that I'm IN Michigan! LOL!

4. Tomorrow Kristy and I are going out on my parent's boat if the weather holds up! Can't wait to spend some time with my parents!

5. Chris is surviving at home! He was even brave enough to take the kids to a baseball game tonight! So happy that the kids are getting some quality time with Daddy!

Fun with the wagons!

Tonight as usual we were out front with the neighbors watching the kids run around. The kids were pulling each other around in the wagons and then talked Mr. John into pulled all of them! So they made a train and we all watched Mr. John pull the kids up and down the street! It was quite entertaining!

John pulling all the kids! There was a total of six kids he was pulling around!

Myles, Adalyn and Briauna

Raelyn, Jenna and Shelby

The train of wagons!

Ms. Stephanie decided to give it a try! She was tired when she got done! Shawna and I decided she gets the "Best Mom of the Street" award for pulling the kids around!

Swimming Lessons!

Myles and Adalyn have been taking swimming lessons last week and this week. Today I took my camera along to gets some pictures!

Myles waiting for his turn! He has done so well. The first day he screamed and didn't want to get in the water but once Ms. Erin got him in he was fine and has turned into a little fish.

Floating on his back with Ms. Erin. He does this really well!

Swimming! He can now swim the whole length of our pool by himself and can also dive down and get rings from the bottom of the pool.

He is so cute with his swim goggles on!

Kick, Kick, Kick!

Broedy has been less than thrilled to have to go to swim lessons each day and watch his younger brother and sister!

Using big arms with Ms. Erin!

Getting ready to JUMP!

JUMPING!

Adalyn has been taking a Parent/Child class and has been less than thrilled! She cries most of the time. Last week she cried every day the whole time she was in the pool. Today was the first day she seemed to actually enjoy herself and not scream the whole time!
Me and Adalyn in the water!

Getting the duck!

Diving for rings! She actually likes diving for rings which I find pretty funny!

Learning to float her back!

Back floating with Ms. Erin
