Labor Day Weekend!

Saturday morning we got up and decided to head South with the camper. I have wanted to go and check out an Apple Orchard in Willcox, AZ and so we loaded up the camper and off we went. We ended up staying in a really nice campground in Benson, AZ called Cochise Terrace. We just hung around town on Saturday and then Sunday morning we got up and headed to Willcox to Apple Annie's Orchard.

We had an all you can eat pancake breakfast among the apple trees! After breakfast we headed out in the orchard to pick apples.

After the apple orchard we headed up the mountain to go check out Cochise Stronghold. I knew nothing about Cochise, but my Western Loving husband educated me and the kids all about Cochise. He was the Apache Chief and he lead his followers through the rugged terran of the Dragoon Mountains and Cochise Stronghold is where he held off the U.S. Army for about 11 years. It was a nice drive and at the top there was a campground with picnic tables and some hiking trails.

We had snacks and drinks up at Cochise Stronghold.

After the excitement of Cochise Stronghold, we headed to tombstone. Tombstone is an old western town. Tombstone is full of old shops, stagecoaches and gun fights. The people of the city dress up in the old western clothes.

A Stagecoach....you can take city tours on them.

Raelyn...notice her pink cowgirl hat! She has wanted a cowgirl hat for awhile so she can wear it when she rides horses out at OJ's ranch. She used her birthday money to get a pink cowgirl hat! She is adorable in it!

After tombstone we headed back to the campground to eat dinner and relax! They had a really nice pool and hot tub and we went and played in the pool and I got to sit in the hot tub:-)

It was a great weekend! It was fun to get out of the heat and explore some new places with the kids.

Girls just wanna have FUN!

Tonight Raelyn had a pajama party with her friends for her birthday! Her three best friends came over had pizza, watched a movie, danced, played and ate tons of popcorn, juice and candy! It was a lot of fun and I hope Raelyn has good memories of her special pajama birthday party!

Raelyn turns SIX!

Raelyn Kay,

Six years ago I held you for the very 1^st time. A little girl, a bundle of pink, a mini-me in more ways than I like to admit at times. I remember that day like it was yesterday. Never did I dream that I would be blessed with such a sweet little girl and then you came along. I had big dreams for you. I have visions of dolls and kitchen sets, tea parties and dress up clothes. You love all of those things and more.

You are a little Mom. You adore your younger siblings and are always trying to take care of them. You have attitude and charm and everyone that meets you just loves you. You love school. You come home daily with stories of the things you learned and the friends you played with. You are sure to tell Dad & I what we need to do with your notes, papers and other various things that come home. You have a very good memory and we have to be very careful to only promise you things we know we are sure we can fulfill.

You love to sing. This year you are in music class at school and you love it. Ms. Earls tells me weekly how much she enjoys having you in her class and how much she loves watching you sing. You sing all the time at home. Your favorite song right now is “You belong to me” by Taylor Swift and you sing the lyrics to it all of the time. The 1^st time I heard you sing that song I had to laugh. You are quite the performer and I love to watch you dance and sing around the house

Tonight we celebrated your birthday by going to Chipotle’s and then coming home and having cake and ice cream. You were so excited and couldn’t wait to get home after school to open your presents and then go out to eat. Tomorrow night you are having a pajama party with your two best friends and I can’t wait to see you have fun with them.

I look at you and smile. You are so sweet and I am so proud to be your Mother.

After we opened presents, we went out for Raelyn's birthday dinner! It's been tradition in our house for a very long time that the birthday child (or adult) gets to pick where they want to go. Raelyn decided on Chipotle which everyone was happy about! We LOVE that place:-)

My little girl turned SIX today! Here is her video set to her favorite song right now! She sings this song ALL. THE. TIME. and so while it's not really a "birthday" song, she loves it:-) I'll have to post a video soon of her singing this song! For now, enjoy watching my daughter go from a baby to six in about 3 minutes....it feels like the last six years have gone by just about that fast!

A shower!

Tonight while giving the three little kids a bath someone pooped in the tub. Needless to say all three kids went from the tub to the shower. Adalyn has never really took a shower before and was so funny to watch. Here is her in the shower!

I could just eat this child up! I'm so in love with her and her little attitude!

This is where I find her multiply times a day. I was clearing plates off the table and putting them in the dishwasher. When I went to get Myles plate off the table, I discovered this little girl had decided to clear Myles plate off as well! She eats non-stop!
