The Grand Canyon!

Today we went to the Grand Canyon. We started out by seeing a wild west show at the Train Depot in Williams. My family took the Grand Canyon Railway into the canyon and Chris's parents and our family drove to the canyon and meet them at the train depot there.

We took the free shuttle to one of the points in the canyon. Here we all are on the shuttle bus!

My Grandparents. This was the 1st time they had been at the Grand Canyon.

On the way home, we saw elk along side the road.

A whole herd of elk. I counted at least 30 of them.

We stayed in Williams, AZ at a hotel with a indoor pool and hot tub. The kids had fun swimming and I really enjoyed the hot tub:-)

Today we went to a nearby park and had a KFC picnic lunch, let the kids fed the ducks and just enjoyed the warm Arizona sunshine! It was a fun afternoon of just hanging out together.

Bethany Visits!

One of the girls that we used to have in our Senior High Youth group back in Michigan was here in Arizona visiting her boyfriend and came and spent an evening with us! It was GREAT to see her!

She was crazy enough to go swimming in the pool. The pool was only 70 degrees and she was the only one that got in past her knees!

The kids said they would swim with her. They didn't get in very far.

Myles slept in a big boy bed for the 1st time last night. Who gave permission to my little boy to grow up?

Cooper

So we got another Brittany Spaniel! His name is Cooper and we got him from the American Brittany Rescue. Chris picked him up on Broedy's 8th Birthday and we all love him. He was a stray so we don't know a lot about his background. He is about 14 months old and is pretty shy. He has so far been a great dog. Ozzie and him get along great and we haven't crated him at all and even after being left in the house with Ozzie many times, he has yet to get into anything at all. He follows me around the house during the day and loves playing with the kids. He has been great with Myles and Adalyn, even when they pull his ears or try to lay on him.

This is what I see whenever I turn around! Now that Adalyn is crawling she follows me all over the house. And Cooper still isn't real secure yet and he follows me all over as well!
